Silo tipper

Depending on the size, the chassis of LAG silo tipper trailers are manufactured in different materials. Steel chassis are always made available for 20 and 30 foot containers. 40 foot containers are almost always ordered with an aluminum chassis, but steel is also possible. The chassis is always a straight chassis. However, a 40 foot tipping chassis can also be available with a gooseneck shape.

Combinations are also possible with a tipping container chassis. Attachment points are provided in various places, so that smaller container sizes can also be transported. A 30-foot container can also be placed on a 40-foot semi-trailer. The chassis is also equipped with a reinforcement for this purpose, called the container arm.

The aluminum chassis is composed of extrusion profiles (lengthwise aluminum beams) with various cross connections. These parts are welded together. Other parts (axles, mud flaps, material cupboard, etc.) are bolted to the chassis.

The container section provides ‘transfer zones’. These belly plates form the bottom of the frame and rest on the chassis. Specific ‘protection beds’ are not available on the chassis
